Located at the intersection of Providence Road and Ballantyne Commons Parkway, Providence Commons is a very successful neighborhood center with Harris Teeter and Lowe’s Home Improvement as the anchors.
Working with Harris Teeter as the development partner, the site was rezoned to include Lowe’s as a part of a very successful development. Key elements of the process included:
- Completing a development plan to address neighborhood concerns
- Development of Lowe’s and Harris Teeter buildings
- Leasing of 12,000 square feet of shop space to include Rite Aid, Great Clips, Showmar’s and Wolfman Pizza
- Working with Charlotte planning staff to determine an acceptable architectural plan
