Charlotte, NC (May, 2017) – MPV Properties (MPV) announces new tenants for Strawberry Hill, which is currently undergoing a redevelopment that will be completed by first quarter of 2019 and will include a new 24,000 SF The Fresh Market. All existing tenants in the center will remain, and The Fresh Market and BB&T will relocate within the center.

El Felix (5,851 SF) and Pawtique Holistic Pet Shoppe (2,853 SF) have signed leases for part of what will be the former The Fresh Market space. El Felix is one of Chef Ford Fry’s many concepts based out of Atlanta, GA. Paying homage to a dive from Fry’s home state of Texas, the Tex-Mex menu plays to his roots with classics from enchiladas and crispy tacos to chile con carne and mole poblano paired with refreshing margaritas. The remaining 5,840 SF of The Fresh Market space will include additional retail shops and possibly a restaurant.

Approximately 17,000 sf of new shop space is being added at the corner of Providence Road and Sardis Road where Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin Robbins has leased 2,011 SF and MOD Pizza has leased 2,606 SF.

Marsh Properties is the owner/developer of Strawberry Hill and Steve Vermillion of MPV Properties is the development consultant on the project. Keely Hines with MPV Properties is handling the leasing.
