Charlotte, NC (June, 2018) – MPV Properties (MPV) announces suspended operation for select tenants at Strawberry Hill shopping center in South Charlotte due to the ongoing redevelopment and renovation work. As construction at Strawberry Hill continues, access to some of the existing retailers will be restricted beginning July 2, 2018. Ambiance Hair Salon, The Nail Center, Three French Hens, Phil’s Deli II, Aqua E Vino, Red Rocks, Thai Orchid and A Bonnart Jewelers will be closed during these renovations to allow for major improvements to the common walkway areas in front of these stores. The newly renovated plaza will include a water feature, repaved walkways, and modern architectural finishes. All shops are scheduled to reopen on August 11, 2018. The Fresh Market, Rite Aid, BB&T, and Sherwin Williams will remain open with regular access during this time.
When complete, the center will include a new 24,000 SF The Fresh Market, and approximately 17,000 SF of new shop space at the corner of Providence Road and Sardis Road. The completed center will also welcome new tenants including Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin Robbins, Superica, Hollywood Feed Holistic Pet Food & Supplies, and MOD Pizza.
