Rebecca Herron joined MPV Properties in 2016 as a broker for office and industrial leasing. Her responsibilities include business development, real estate planning, market research, financial analysis and lease/sale negotiation. At MPV, Rebecca’s diverse skill set provides her clients with a strategic advantage as she represents them in relocations, expansions, renewals, and dispositions.
Prior to joining MPV, Rebecca led business development at a geotechnical and environmental engineering firm, where she gained experience in the processes of due diligence, rezoning, property surveys assessments, feasibility studies, property condition assessments, and environmental Phase 1 ESA assessments. This is in addition to the in-depth knowledge she acquired within general construction, including permitting, tenant improvements, economic development, and build-to-suit projects. Outside of real estate, Rebecca also has five years of experience as an advertising consultant for print and digital projects, with expertise in both account management and sales training.
Rebecca is an alumna of the University of Texas at Austin. There, she graduated with a B.S. in Corporate Communications and a minor in Business Foundations, and was a member of Delta Gamma. Away from work, Rebecca is an active leader at her church, Myers Park United Methodist, and has served on many committees with the Harris YMCA. Her dedication to giving back to the Charlotte community has also led her to help spearhead fund-raising and networking events and initiatives for NAIOP Charlotte, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), and the Charlotte City Club. Her volunteer work has spanned everything from Good Friends to Levine Children’s Hospital.
