Bailey W. Patrick has spent more than 30 years in all facets of commercial real estate. His areas of specialty encompass all types of brokerage including land, office, industrial, and investment transactions in addition to suburban office and flex space development. Bailey has been awarded the #1 Top Producing Land Broker in the Charlotte Region by the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of REALTORS (CRCBR) on many occasions and he offers extensive knowledge and experience in providing commercial real estate services.

Bailey shares overall responsibility for the success of MPV Properties. His primary focus is in new business development while overseeing brokerage operations. In addition, he has an active role in financial planning, personnel management, site acquisition, development and zoning, leasing and site sales and market research.

Bailey is extremely active in the Charlotte Community serving as Director on the Corporate Board of Cato Corporation, a Board Member of The John Crosland School, and he is a former Chairman of the Board and current Trustee of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte. Bailey serves as a Trustee for Queens University, serves on the Board of Visitors for UNC-Chapel Hill and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia, his high school alma mater. He is a past member of the Corporate Board of Directors for Harris Teeter Supermarkets, Inc. and Park Sterling Bank, while also previously serving on the Boards of Presbyterian Hospital Foundation, Charlotte Country Day School, Spirit Square Center for the Arts, Trust For Public Land, the Children’s Scholarship Fund of Charlotte, the Carolina Thread Trail, and the Central Piedmont Community College Foundation. Bailey is a past President of the Charlotte Regional Commercial Board of Directors.

Bailey began his real estate career with The Bissell Companies in 1984 as a leasing agent and project manager in their Greensboro office until 1988 when he moved to Charlotte working as a leasing agent. In 1997 he became a partner and President of Bissell Patrick, LLC, the commercial real estate brokerage entity of the Bissell Family of Companies. At that time, Bissell Patrick affiliated with the Grubb & Ellis network and was doing business as Grubb & Ellis | Bissell Patrick until that affiliation ended in 2004. Bailey ultimately purchased a majority interest in Bissell Patrick and in 2009 became the sole owner of Bissell Patrick.

Bailey received a B.A. Degree in Economics in 1983 from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and he holds the SIOR designation from the Society of Office and Industrial REALTORS.
