Brad obtained a BA in political science from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Brad started in the commercial real estate business with Colorado Landmark Realtors in Boulder, Colorado, where he focused on general brokerage and development work on the Front Range of Colorado. Brad returned to his hometown, Charlotte, N.C., in 1997 and joined The Browder-Harris Company, which became Harris-Murr & Associates in 2000. Harris-Murr & Associates focused on build-to-suit development, retail development, general brokerage and corporate client services, including sale and lease negotiations, construction administration and site selection. Harris-Murr & Associates completed over 60 build-to-suit projects in 12 states as well as readaptive use projects, retail and office development and tenant representation. Harris-Murr & Associates became Harris, Murr & Vermillion in 2003, and welcomed Steve Vermillion as a partner. Harris, Murr & Vermillion became The Carolina Group Partners, LLC in May of 2007. Then in 2010, The Carolina Group became MPV, where Brad serves as a managing partner. Brad enjoys working with clients such as Sunbelt Rentals, Inc., AAA Auto Club Group, AAA Club Alliance, Lowe’s Home Improvement and many other retailers. Brad has also been active in the Southend and NoDa areas of Charlotte, N.C.
Brad is a member of the Charlotte Regional Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR) and holds real estate licenses in North and South Carolina and Georgia. Brad is a candidate for Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. He is also a member of the Charlotte Chamber, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Brad sits on the Board of West Boulevard Ministry and formerly sat on The Harvest Center Board where he served as vice chair of the organization. Brad was also formerly chair of the American Community Bank SouthEnd Advisory Board. Brad is a graduate of the Charlotte Leadership School and a founding member and Treasurer of The Bridge Foundation and The Bridge Scholarship. Brad and his wife Alli have four daughters and they reside in Charlotte.
