Joey, a lifelong resident of Charlotte, joined MPV Properties in August 2008 after graduating from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where he earned bachelor’s degrees in business administration and communication studies. Joey started his career in Wilmington, NC working for Zimmer Development Company.
Joey specializes in landlord representation throughout the Carolinas and tenant representation along the East Coast. He has been involved in leasing more than two million square feet in power centers, grocery anchored retail centers, mixed use projects, neighborhood strip centers and free-standing buildings. Joey also assists in site selection for grocery anchored centers, land acquisitions, and investment property sales. He currently represents several national and regional tenants such as Harris Teeter, Dunkin’ Donuts, Second Harvest Food Bank, Happy & Hale, Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell, Grease Monkey, and Super Chix. Joey has completed real estate transactions in more than 14 states with an extensive master brokerage portfolio.
Joey is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and holds broker licenses in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Outside of MPV, he is an active volunteer with the YMCA of Greater Charlotte, former board chair of the Stratford Richardson YMCA, and currently serves on two YMCA charity event committees. He is also an active board member of the University of North Carolina Wilmington Alumni Association. Joey enjoys golf, tennis, hunting, and spending time with his wife, Caitlin, and their three children.
