MPV Properties predecessor, Merrifield Partners, recognized an opportunity to bring new services to a fast growing area south of Ballantyne. The identified site was located in a high traffic corridor adjacent to a planned Crosland retail shopping center. The site was transformed into Hunters Crossing, a cohesive mix of retail, medical and professional office uses through the following processes:
- Purchased the site
- Rezoned the land for neighborhood services
- Integrated the master-plan and building design with the Hunters Crossing shopping center
- Constructed 20,000 square feet of medical and professional office and 27,000 square feet of retail shops and restaurants
- Provided a site for a 40,000 square foot climate controlled self-storage facility
The pedestrian-friendly design, accessibility, and mix of tenants created a desirable destination for area residents to fulfill their shopping and service needs.
