Charlotte, NC (May 2012) – Merrifield Patrick Vermillion, LLC, one of the area’s leading providers of commercial real estate services closed the following industrial transactions.
- Merrifield Patrick Vermillion (MPV) assisted DCT Industrial Trust, Inc. with the sale of their industrial building in Hart Business Park. Located at 5417 Wyoming Avenue in southeast Charlotte, the building contains approximately 80,800 SF on 5.71 acres. This building was the last of DCT’s Charlotte portfolio to trade. Billy Thomas and Stephen Woodard of MPV represented DCT Industrial and Tim Robertson with Beacon Partners represented the Buyer, Silver Oak Properties LLC, at Wyoming Avenue.
- Billy Thomas with MPV also assisted Optical Experts Manufacturing, Inc. (OEM) with the leasing of their two new Charlotte facilities located at 9900 Brookford Street and 2530 Whitehall Park Drive. With over 122,000 total square feet, the new location at Brookford Street will serve as OEM’s new packaging and assembly site and the 52,000 SF space at Whitehall Park Drive will serve as an additional distribution location. Billy Thomas represented OEM and Brad Cherry of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the landlord, Cabot Industrial Properties, at Brookford Street. The Landlord at Whitehall Park Drive, Cenveo Corporation, was represented by Billy Thomas.
