Mint Hill Industrial, LLC, an affiliate of Aberdeen Carolina and Western Railway (ACWR), purchased the site and plans to develop a rail served industrial park. The Aberdeen Carolina and Western Railway is a privately held short line railroad that runs from Charlotte towards Raleigh and is connected to both CSX and Norfolk rail networks. The Mint Hill Industrial property will have access from Albemarle Road (Hwy 27) at the signalized intersection with Rocky River Church Road.
