Charlotte, NC (April, 2018)MPV Properties (MPV) is pleased to announce the sale of a historic building in Dilworth located at 1009 East Boulevard. The building was purchased by an investor in late January for $1.625 million. The Buyer, 1009 East, LLC, has engaged DAS Architecture to do extensive exterior and interior renovations on the 4,500 square foot building, and the project has already received unanimous approval from Charlotte’s Historic District Commission.

The previous owner of the building, Beth Keim, owner and principal of interior design firm Lucy and Company, has since relocated to the Atherton Lofts on South Boulevard. On her former showroom location, Keim says, “Having my growing business at such a visible location on East Boulevard for the past 12 years has been invaluable to my company. We initially purchased the building as an investment, and I was delighted to get the price I was looking for with the help of MPV after all these years.”

1009 East Boulevard is located near the northeast corner of East Boulevard and Dilworth Road West. Though no tenant has been announced at this time, renovations have been under way for several months. Edison Foard is the general contractor on the project. Bailey Patrick and Bailey Patrick Jr. represented the Seller in the transaction.
