Charlotte, NC (February 2014) – Merrifield Patrick Vermillion, LLC (MPV) is pleased to announce the sale of a 2.64-acre site located in the heart of Dilworth that was formerly owned by Carolinas AGC (a chapter of Associated General Contractors of America).

The property, bordered by Euclid Avenue and Templeton Avenue, consists of nearly 40,000 total square feet spread over three office buildings, which was primarily occupied by the Carolinas AGC. Marsh Realty Company purchased the site and in 2013 received a successful rezoning for a future multifamily development.

Carolinas AGC has chosen SouthPark for its future office headquarters and has leased over 7,300 square feet at Three South Executive Park. This location will provide a more modern and innovative work space for Carolinas AGC.

President and CEO of Carolinas AGC, Cynthia Mills, characterizes the organization’s experience of selling their existing property and finding a new headquarters location as follows:

“CAGC’s Board of Directors went through a rigorous selection process to identify a commercial realtor for this project. Our partnership with MPV was not only a professional success but confirmed an extraordinary commitment by their team to meet our objectives.”

Bailey W. Patrick and Stephen Woodard of Merrifield Patrick Vermillion represented Carolinas AGC with this disposition and new office site search. Leah Bailey of Trinity Partners represented the landlord at Three South.
