Retail News

2317 South Boulevard has been purchased by investors SBBH, and Developments 8. MPV Properties originally purchased the 8,000 SF building, formerly the Paradise Island Dive Shop, in the summer of 2015. Redevelopment of the center was completed earlier this year, and current tenants in the space include Mattress Firm and Orangetheory Fitness. Mark Newell with MPV represented the seller in the transaction.

Land News

Summit Avenue .84 acre of land has been sold to SREP IV, LLC along Summit Avenue in Charlotte, NC. The parcel of land is located on Summit Avenue between South Mint Street and South Church Street, in the heart of South End. The land is currently zoned for TOD-M (Transit Oriented Mixed-Use). Mark Newell represented the seller in the transaction.

Fanny Branch Farm 152 acres along Weddington Road/Highway 84 and Airport Road was recently sold in Union County. The land is currently zoned RA-40. Bailey W. Patrick, SIOR and Justin Holofchak with MPV Properties represented the seller.

Office News

Crosland Centre Northwood Ravin, a leading multifamily development, construction and property management firm in the Southeast, has relocated to the Crosland Centre, located at the corner of South Boulevard and Scaleybark Road in Charlotte, NC. Northwood Ravin will take 14,549 SF of space at the center. Robby Kirby and Ian Bruce of MPV represented the landlord.

Credit Services Corporation will take 15,142 SF of space at 1401 West Morehead, the historic Coca-Cola building. Robby Kirby with MPV represented the tenant. Kristy Venning with Beacon Partners represented the landlord.

Industrial News

Suttle Avenue Dish Network Service, LLC has signed a lease for the entire 11,200 SF of industrial space at 2050 Suttle Avenue, formerly occupied by Loomis. Billy Thomas and George Macon with MPV represented the landlord. Hunter Barron with CBRE represented the tenant.
