Office Transactions
Thomas & Hutton, an engineering company with locations throughout the southeast, recently took 5,390 SF at 1020 Euclid Avenue in Charlotte’s South End. This was a relocation/expansion for the company, who plans to grow with a space roughly double in size from its previous location. The company took control of their space on November 1, and they are completing their upfit now. Robby Kirby of MPV represented the tenant, and Kristy Venning with Beacon Partners represented the landlord in this transaction.
Industrial Transactions
2011 Highway 49 in Concord, NC has sold. The purchase included a 25-acre lot with a 103,200 SF industrial building on site. Billy Thomas of MPV represented the seller, and Adam Purser with Purser Industrial Properties represented the buyer. The space is being upfit now for the tenant who will occupy the space, a rebar manufacturer.
Clear Creek Business Park, a 177-acre master planned development in Mint Hill, NC, will see three new tenants soon: DesignBuild Mechanical, a firm specializing in the design and installation of commercial HVAC systems has signed to take 12,000 SF, with plans to move before year-end. CRS Building Automation Systems, a building safety, monitoring and security company is taking 4,810 SF, with plans to move in early 2020. And finally, GoPuff, a snack delivery company is taking 7,160 SF, and also moving in early 2020. The developer has designed an identical 24,000 SF building adjacent to the first building, and construction is anticipated to start in the 1st Quarter of 2020.
