Pineville, NC (April, 2020) – Nance Companies & MPV Properties (MPV) are pleased to announce the upcoming delivery, in mid-May, of Berkshire Business Centers #20, a new speculative office/warehouse building at Pineville Distribution Park. The firms are co-developing the 67,000 square foot building, which is located within 1.5 miles of Westinghouse Boulevard and the South Boulevard/I-485 interchange. The building features 28-foot clear heights, efficient column spacing, LED lighting, an ESFR sprinkler system, and ample parking for employees and trailers.
Upon completion, Pineville Distribution Park will have close to 600,000 square feet of Class A warehouse and distribution space. One of the business park’s biggest draws is its proximity to Ballantyne, South Boulevard and South Charlotte’s other residential areas.
“Most new office/warehouse buildings continue to be built in heavy industrial areas such as the Westinghouse and airport submarkets,” said Bailey Patrick Jr. with MPV. “We’ve tried to offer something more convenient to South Charlotte where many business owners and employees live, and we hope the unique location sets us apart.”
The 67,000 square foot building can be subdivided to accommodate tenants that only need 25,000-40,000 square feet, and office space can be customized to meet tenant requirements.
This is the second building developed by the Nance/MPV partnership, and the team has a third building under construction in Mint Hill that should be ready for occupancy by the fall of 2020. Billy Thomas and Bailey Patrick Jr. are leasing the building for the developers. Merriman Schmitt is the architect, Timmons Group is the civil engineer, and Intercon is the general contractor.
