Concord, NC (October 2023) MPV Properties (“MPV”) is pleased to announce eight new tenants coming to its mixed-use development in Concord, NC: Christenbury Village. The property is located at Christenbury Parkway and Cox Mill Rd., west of Concord Mills. The retail portion of the project will include: Tupelo Honey, Ultra Nail Boutique, Cookie Co., Beem Light Sauna, Woof Gang Bakery, Petfolk, Heartland Dental and Fleet Feet, which have all signed leases.

Tupelo Honey will be taking 5,779 SF of space with patio in Building 3. The southern style kitchen and bar is expected to take possession of the space Q3 2024 to complete their upfits. Next door to the restaurant will be Fleet Feet, a national shoe and clothing store. They will occupy the remaining 1,726 SF.

Petfolk Veterinary Clinic, Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming, and Heartland Dental will occupy Building 4. Petfolk will be taking the 3,186 SF end cap with outdoor area. Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming is taking 1,588 SF. And finally, Heartland Dental will be taking the remaining 2,875 SF end cap. All three tenants are expected to open in late 2024.

Buildings 1 and 5 will be mixed-use with first floor retail and 4-stories of apartments above. Ultra Nail Boutique and Cookie Co. have signed leases in Building 5, with Ultra Nail Boutique taking the 2,426 SF end cap, and Cookie Co. taking the adjacent 1,229 SF of space. Beem Light Sauna will be occupy a 1,782 SF inline space in Building 1. LOIs are being negotiated with several other class-A retail and medical tenants in these buildings. In total, there will be 156 residential apartment units in the project, which are expected to be available Q2 2025.

Lowes Foods is currently under construction and the anchor tenant of the project. They are projecting a Q3 2024 opening.

Once complete, Christenbury Village will serve as the first true mixed-use development in the Concord Mills submarket.
