Charlotte, NC (December, 2018) – MPV Properties (MPV) is pleased to announce additional tenants for the current Strawberry Hill development at the corner of Sardis and Providence Road. These tenants will join several others including recently opened anchor-tenant, The Fresh Market:
Alexander Scott has executed a lease for 1,838 SF. Long time business owner, David Newcombe will relocate his upscale home interiors store from Myers Park Shopping Center. Keely Hines with Foundry Commercial represented Alexander Scott in this transaction.
Deka Lash has signed a lease for 1,190 SF of space, Deka Lash is an eye lash extension brand. Drew Williams is the franchisee to open this location and this will be the first of several he plans to open in the Charlotte market. Joey Morganthall with MPV represented Deka Lash and Robbie Adams with MPV represented the landlord in this transaction.
Mezeh Mediterranean Grill has signed a lease for 2,820 SF at the shopping center. Mezeh is a fast casual Mediterranean concept that will offer custom salad and rice bowls, pita pockets and wraps. This will be Mezeh’s first location in Charlotte and they plan to open 4-5 additional locations in the market. Margot Bizon with Katz and Associates represented Mezeh, and Robbie Adams with MPV represented the landlord in this transaction.
Spavia has signed a lease for 3,000 SF at the shopping center. Dana and Angie Dotson are the franchisees and this will be the first of several they plan to open in the Charlotte market. Spavia is a new spa concept with a resort like experience at an affordable price and will offer a wide variety of services including massages, skin care, body wraps, waxing, and more. Diana Searight with The Chambers Group represented Spavia and Robbie Adams with MPV represented the landlord in this transaction.
Once development at Strawberry Hill is complete, along with the Fresh Market, the center will include approximately 17,000 SF of new shop space at the corner of Providence Road and Sardis Road. The completed center will also welcome new tenants including Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin Robbins, Nékter, Superica, Hollywood Feed Holistic Pet Food & Supplies and MOD Pizza.
